EDUCATION
(1997) Degree in Law at the Autónoma University of Madrid
(2000) Doctorate in Civil Law at the Autónoma University of Madrid, with a doctoral thesis entitled “Audiovisual works: concept, authorship and moral rights”
PROFESSIONAL CAREER
He lectured in Civil Law at the Autónoma University of Madrid in 1997-2001 and 2003-2006, and at the Madrid Complutense University in 2001-2003.
In the judicial year 2004-2005 he worked as substitute judge in the Provincial Court of Toledo.
In 2005 he joined Bercovitz-Carvajal. He has been a partner since 2008.
SPECIALIST AREAS
Since joining Bercovitz-Carvajal he has worked in all areas of private property law, and especially intellectual property in the audiovisual, recording and architectural fields, personal data protection and electronic contracts. He has advised credit institutions on the introduction of digital signature systems.
